First Post
I have always loved preventive and natural medicine. There is something about finding and treating the cause of a problem rather than just covering up the symptoms that really appeals to my pragmatic side. You could say it even turns me on, in a very math teacher, librarian sort of way. So that is why I have and always will be a closet Naturopath (i.e. ND, i.e. Naturopathic Doctor, i.e. someone who cures with natural alternative medicines rather than with drugs and surgery). But since insurances still do not cover ND's, (which I'm sure they will someday) I decided not to become one. Yet. So I am starting this blog as an outlet for my passion. I will post about products I find that help keep kids (and sometimes adults) healthy, as well as my own experiences with my family.
Since becoming a mother a year-and-a-half ago, I have realized there are so many ways to apply natural medicine to children which almost all the time cures their problems more quickly and effectively than traditional medicine. And with no discomfort or side-effects. I will be blogging about that, and any other awesome stuff that helps babies, and everyone really, stay naturally healthy.

Love your blog, Jill! The grass photo is a nice touch. Is that wheat grass, per chance?
